Kingdom of Zeal 3D Shadowbox

This shadowbox piece was a commission to create a three dimensional interpretation of the kingdom of zeal.  The original spritework has been brought down to 1/4 of the resolution through hand derezzing, and is created in minibeads to allow it to fit on your wall.  The each island is made up of 4-8 layers, and each layer of the islands is embellished with 3D details including buildings, trees, and bridges.  The 3D elements are mounted on a largescale pixel print of the cloudy sky.  The entire piece is 24×30″, with 3″ of depth in the shadowbox.
