Luigi’s Scream 3D Shadowbox

This shadowbox piece was a commission to put an 16-bit spin on the classic artwork The Scream. A pixelated interpretation of the landscape serves as a setting for a 3D Luigi panicking over the Boos floating in the eerie red sky.  The bridge and boo house are raised elements, and the boos are a front facing 3D suspended above the background layer.  The entire piece is 18″x24″, with 4″ of depth in the shadowbox.
